Peach French Toast~Angela Green Empty Peach French Toast~Angela Green

Loaf of French or Italian bread cut into ¾ in. slices- approx. 8
½ cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp water
3 14.5 oz. can sliced peaches, drained
6 eggs
½ cup milk
2 Tbsp vanilla
cinnamon

In saucepan melt butter, add brown sugar and water, stir until well mixed.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 min., stir frequently.
Pour in 9x13 pan.
In separate bowl whisk eggs, milk and vanilla. Set aside.
Spoon peaches into 9x13 pan containing brown sugar mixture.
Dredge bread slices with egg mixture, 1 at a time, and lay on top pf peaches. Cover with remaining egg mixture.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Cover & refrigerate overnight.
Remove from frig, let stand 30 min.
Cook in 350 oven for 30 min.
